This was a collaborative project between our laboratory and Dr. Gene Robinson’s behavioral neuroscience laboratory and involves the application of methods methods to predict the consequence of a dynamic procedure like behavior on gene expression.

Making use of a mind transcriptome data set (created in Dr. Robinson’s laboratory) unrivaled in size and range (over 800 person honeybees sampled in practically 50 behavioral says) we succeeded in reconstructing a Transcriptional Regulatory system (TRN) that revealed remarkably high precision in quantitatively forecasting mind gene appearance.
