
Beekeeping in Virginia
The Beekeepers Guild of Southeast Virginia gift suggestions a three-day Short program for Beginning Beekeepers with an emphasis on lasting, chemical-free techniques. The course may be held on three successive Saturday mornings, February 11, 18 & 25, 2017 on police Training Academy (LETA) in Virginia Beach, Virginia. An optional fourth Saturday open hive demonstration in bee yard with an equipment assembly demonstration is roofed. The program is made of lectures and hands-on demonstrations. This program fulfills the academic dependence on six (6) hours of classroom training in introductory beekeeping instruction the skilled amount of the Virginia Master Beekeeper system.
First Saturday, February 11, 2017 (8 AM to 2 PM)
- Honey-bee Insects and Diseases - Built-in Pest Control
- Honey Manufacturing as well as other Hive Items
- Open up Hive Demonstration and equipment assembly demonstration from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Tuition: includes MAAREC Beekeeping Basics, extra beekeeping journals, refreshments daily and a free of charge Guild membership from February 25, 2017 to Summer 30, 2017. university fees available for additional students in the same home (one set of research products per family). Minor young ones needs to be combined with a paying adult.
